Jobs on the move at CV-Library

CV-Library.co.uk has just announced the launch of its new iPhone application for candidates

CV-Library.co.uk has just announced the launch of its new iPhone application for candidates. The application is available now from the iTunes store, and allows job seekers to download the app for free and search CV-Library’s UK-wide vacancies via their iPhone. The free application also allows users to save searches, apply to jobs or email jobs to either themselves or a friend.

By releasing this iPhone application, CV-Library are joining leading job sites Monster and Total jobs as being the first job boards to launch an iPhone recruitment application. These sites have seen an increase in traffic from iPhones month on month, and CV-Library hope to see this success repeated in 2010.

Lee Biggins, Managing Director of CV-Library comments: “We are very excited to have launched our iPhone application to allow candidates to search and apply for jobs on the move. In a time where nearly everyone has a smartphone and is connected to mobile internet, making

CV-Library mobile was the next logical step. By taking advantage of the increase in mobile users and this ideal branding opportunity, CV-Library is proud to be leading the way with mobile recruitment technology.”

As more and more people are using smartphones, and finding themselves with increasingly busy lives, iPhone recruitment applications are a perfect solution. These applications allow users to use the internet on the go, which could be an indication of the direction in which the recruitment industry is heading. With the launch of the iPad, CV-Library is keen to bring mobile job search to more users than ever.

To search job vacancies on CV-Library via your iPhone, download the app for free from the iTunes app store.
