Hamrr Launches AI Agent for UK Agency Recruiters — Runs Six Functions of the Desk Around the Clock, So Recruiters Don’t Have To

Designed specifically for agency and contingency recruiters, Hamrr connects to whatever ATS you already use — watches your pipeline, coordinates interviews, chases candidates, redeploys dormants, and keeps the ATS itself up to date.

Hamrr, an AI recruiting agent built specifically for agency and contingency recruiters, has officially launched today. It sits on top of the ATS recruiters already use — quietly running the six core functions of every recruiter’s desk, surfacing what needs attention, drafting the work, and keeping the system up to date.

The Problem Every Agency Recruiter Knows

Most agency recruiters are juggling 40 candidates across 8 roles at any given time. The candidate from last week. The interview tomorrow. The offer that’s been sitting unanswered for four days. The role that’s gone quiet. The dormant candidate who’d be perfect for the new brief. There is simply no human way to keep all of it in your head at once.

And the data that could help — last contact dates, pipeline stages, interview schedules, offer status, candidate history — is sitting in the ATS, unused. The system knows when a candidate has gone silent. It just never tells the recruiter. By the time anyone notices, the candidate has accepted somewhere else, the offer has expired, or the role has been pulled. Hamrr was built to close that gap — by both watching the pipeline and acting on it.

Six Functions, One Recruiter, Hamrr Runs the Rest

Hamrr is structured around the six core functions of every recruiter’s desk. It runs each of them continuously — surfacing what needs attention with a clear reason and a suggested next action.

  • Intake — tracks new briefs as they come in, flags missing fields and unclear requirements, and surfaces what needs clarifying with the client before the role can be filled.
  • Pipeline — monitors candidate depth, stage progression and role-to-candidate matches across every live job, so recruiters can see at a glance which roles are healthy and which are starving.
  • Scheduling — coordinates interviews and calendars, surfaces upcoming meetings, and prepares pre-interview notes so recruiters walk into every conversation prepared.
  • Risk — scores no-show risk before interviews, flags candidates stuck at a stage, and catches offers that are silently slipping away — the signals that traditionally only surface after a placement has been lost.
  • Feedback — tracks who is awaiting input from clients or candidates and chases the loop closed. No more roles stalling because someone forgot to follow up with a hiring manager.
  • Dormant / Redeploy — surfaces stale candidates worth reactivating, suggests the live roles they’d be a fit for, and drafts the outreach message to bring them back into the pipeline.

Doesn’t Just Watch — Acts Inside the ATS

Hamrr is more than a smart dashboard. With one tap of approval, the agent completes the work directly inside the recruiter’s ATS — so the system finally reflects reality without recruiters spending an hour a day manually updating it.

Drafts the work

  • Personalised follow-up messages and dormant outreach, ready to send
  • First-message coaching based on the recruiter’s own conversion patterns
  • Pre-interview notes and client update emails with current pipeline status

Updates the ATS automatically

  • Logs activities, conversation history and interview outcomes against candidates
  • Updates stages, fills missing fields, adds new candidates from messages or CVs, and tags candidates for campaigns or redeployment
  • Creates tasks and reminders, and keeps notes and placement data in sync

Every recommendation and every action ties directly to a real recruiter KPI — reactivation, interview-to-offer conversion, placement velocity — so recruiters can see why Hamrr is doing what it’s doing.

Lives Where Recruiters Already Are

Hamrr fits the way agency recruiters actually work. Recruiters can use the Hamrr desk through a clean web interface, or interact directly through WhatsApp using simple commands like /pipeline, /risk, /followup, /compare or /score. Ask a question, get an answer. Approve a draft, it sends. No new app to learn, no tab-switching.

Built to Augment, Not Replace

Hamrr is designed to make recruiters faster and more effective — not to take their job. The agent drafts, recommends, and prepares the work; the recruiter approves, sends, and owns the relationship. Hamrr handles the legwork. The recruiter handles the placement.

Works With the ATS You Already Have

One of the biggest barriers to AI adoption in agency recruitment has been the sheer variety of platforms in use. Every agency runs on something different, and most AI tools only connect to one or two of them. Hamrr changes that. It connects to 12 of the most widely used ATS platforms through a single, behind-the-scenes integration — JobAdder, Manatal, Workable, Lever, Ashby, Recruit CRM, RecruiterFlow, Zoho Recruit, BambooHR, Breezy HR, Recruitee and TalentLyft.

Recruiters don’t need to set anything up. They sign in, connect their ATS, and Hamrr starts working from the live data inside it. No exports, no manual updates, no copy-pasting between systems.

The integration layer powering this is the first of its kind built specifically for agency recruitment. Recruiters who already use AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude can also query their live pipeline directly through them, in plain English.

Built by an Outsider Who Saw the Gap

Hamrr was founded by Amir Omar, an AI engineer who spent two years building AI agents for clients across industries before turning his attention to recruitment. The idea didn’t come from inside the industry — it came from being a candidate going through it.

“I was job hunting and getting calls from recruiters every week. Every single one was on a different system. They were brilliant, — but they were juggling 40 candidates and there was no way they could keep track of everything by hand. Working in boutique consultancy, I know the pain of the constant context switching. I’d have great conversations with someone, then nothing. Not because they’d lost interest — because I’d slipped through the cracks,” said Amir Omar, Founder of Hamrr.

“Their ATS knew exactly when we last spoke. It just never told them to follow up. The whole industry was running on data nobody was using.”

What’s Next

Hamrr’s roadmap is focused on becoming the unified AI layer across the entire agency recruitment stack — not just the ATS. The team is actively expanding integrations across sourcing tools, job board aggregators, contractor management systems, compliance platforms, and additional ATS providers, with the goal of giving recruiters one intelligent layer over every system they touch in a working day.

Calling all ATS, sourcing and rec-tech vendors. If you build software for agency recruiters and want to be part of the agentic future of recruitment — we want to talk. Hamrr is actively partnering with platforms that share the goal of making recruiter workflows faster, smarter and more integrated.
