America's Job Exchange (AJE), in partnership with non-profit Hire A Hero (HAH), and several top employers, has launched a 90-day on-line hiring event for veterans that facilitates the posting of jobs in a section specifically designed for the significant numbers of veterans who are facing unemployment upon their return from service.

This special program also assists sponsoring employers to proactively reach veterans with their job listings in support of their affirmative action programs, specifically boosting their VEVRAA/JVA compliance efforts. These jobs will be listed in AJE's and HAH's national websites as well as AJE's Veteran Job Exchange site. Additionally, these job listings will be available to local career one-stop centers assisting veterans in their job search and career planning.

Helping veterans transition back to the civilian workforce is not only an obligation but also a smart business decision for companies, said Rathin Sinha, President of America's Job Exchange. Our veterans bring in critical skills, rarely matched by any other segment of the workforce. Strong work ethic, commitment, and drive for success, are highly desirable attributes of a candidate in today's dynamic business world.

We are excited to partner with AJE in support of the special hiring event designed for our military community, said Rob Barr, Executive Director of Hire A Hero. Both our organizations are passionate about helping veterans transition successfully into a rewarding career and this special event is an innovative program in our continuing partnership.
