95.8 Capital FM, London’s No.1 Hit Music Station, has announced an exclusive partnership with Monster.co.uk for the sponsorship of Capital Breakfast with Johnny Vaughan & Lisa Snowdon – London’s favourite commercial breakfast show.
The partnership represents the first radio sponsorship for Monster.co.uk – one of the leading providers of online careers and recruitment - and will run for four weeks from January 11th.
The package consists of sponsorship and online activity, focused on the theme “Kick Start Your Day and Your Career”. The partnership includes a brand new competition called Celebrity Job Swap where listeners have the chance to win £3,000 every week. On Monday 25th January, 95.8 Capital FM and Monster.co.uk will provide the perfect antidote for “the most depressing day of the year” – with an all-day competition, where listeners can win £1,000 in cash every hour from 7am to 7pm.
In the latest radio industry figures released by RAJAR *, 95.8 Capital FM has the number one position in commercial market share, pulling in 5.6% of all radio listening and 1.8 million listeners every week. Adding to the station’s success, 1.03 million Londoners are waking up to Capital Breakfast with Johnny & Lisa every week, making them London’s number one commercial breakfast show.
“We are excited to be working with Capital on this campaign, said Isabelle Ratinaud, Marketing Director for Monster UK and Ireland. Working with the breakfast show is a natural fit for us, as Johnny and Lisa help listeners kick start their day, and Monster helps people kick start their careers. Our Monster.co.uk website provides everything from advice to finding the right job and with this campaign we are giving people the chance to win something extra to help them in their career search during these difficult times.
The deal has been brokered by OMD UK.
