IrishJobs.ie, Irelandís number 1 recruitment website, is adding an average of 1,500 fresh CVs to its CV Database each week. The IrishJobs.ie re-designed CV Database launched in June this year and is attracting active, new, high calibre jobseekers via a re-designed CV Centre. The database synchronises information required by recruiters with that supplied by jobseekers to create a highly efficient and targeted recruitment process.
With the development of the re-designed CV Database recruiters are now able to access CVís on IrishJobs.ie more efficiently. Meanwhile, jobseekers gain greater visibility and increased job opportunities by registering their CV. Both jobseekers and recruiters are getting more accurate results from their searches.
Valerie Sorohan, Marketing Manager, IrishJobs.ie commented: ìThe IrishJobs.ie CV Database has proven to be a highly successful tool for jobseekers and for recruiters where we have had very positive feedback from both parties. Our main goal was to ensure that relevant jobseeker information, as outlined by the recruiter, was captured when they registered their CV on My Career Manager.î
Research amongst recruiters showed that they were looking for very specific criteria from jobseekers, including:
Desired Role
Desired Salary
Desired Employment Type
Current Role in Organisation
Education Level
Key Skills
EU Work Permit
An advanced search of the CV Database is also available, allowing recruiters to match key points in a jobseekers CV to the additional information that a jobseeker has included, thus resulting in more accurate matches. Recruiters can manage each CV they have found and use the system, ìAdd to my CV Centreî, to contact the Jobseeker (via IrishJobs.ie) or if the jobseeker has permitted they can contact the Jobseeker directly.
The IrishJobs.ie Development Team undertook the project, converting the websites My Career Manager to net 2.0.
