SHL, a provider of psychometric assessment and development solutions, announces the appointment of David Valentine as new Global Sales Director. Valentine joins SHL from IBM, where he was a senior Global Sales and Marketing Executive, and will be spear-heading a new recruitment drive for sales and business development managers as international expansion plans accelerate.
As SHL consolidates its dominance within Europe, Valentine plans to double the headcount within the global sales function in the next 12 months. He will also be working on initiatives to take advantage of the emerging markets in China and India and further develop SHL plans for the Americas. He brings a wealth of experience to SHL following eighteen years at IBM, where roles included heading up the European New Business Sales Team for Intel Servers and Global Infrastructure Sales Manager for Financial markets.
