Recruiters still on top

It is great news for recruitment consultants according to a recent poll by recruitment specialists Crone Corkill and FSS. Almost 70% of all candidates surveyed would choose a recruitment consultancy as their first port of call when looking for their next career move.

ìTechnology plays a huge role in the recruitment environment today, however it will be a long time before the personal touch of a recruitment consultant will be replacedî, says Rachel Tubridy, Head of Marketing.

Interestingly the poll also showed that 15% of candidates would use company career portals, 10% would use networking and trade publications came in at 6%.
