Independent consultants de Poel Consulting Ltd, has announced the appointment of Alison Harter as the companyís new PermPortô Director.

Alison has an impressive track record of success in senior leadership roles within the recruitment industry. Prior to joining de Poel she has worked for some of the industryís most notable companies including Harvey Nash Plc, TMP Worldwide and most recently Monster.co.uk, all at Director level. At Monster.co.uk, where Alison held the position of Strategic Business Development Director she was responsible for the largest single sale in Europe of 500,000 per annum.

Alison joined de Poel earlier this month to head up the companyís growing permanent division. The recently established division provides clients with a range of services including supplier rationalisation and invoice consolidation, designed to reduce recruitment costs without compromising staff quality.

An essential component of this service offering is PermPortô. Created specifically for the permanent market, PermPortô is a revolutionary web-based software solution which both simplifies the processes and reduces the costs associated with recruiting permanent staff through agencies, enabling major organisations to manage their agencies more effectively.

The system provides access to real time management information and vacancy tracking, giving enhanced visibility and allowing clients to track vacancies and manage the entire recruitment process more efficiently.

Another integral part of PermPortô is its invoice processing function. The system is designed to streamline administration and substantially reduce the costs associated with processing multiple invoices by presenting clients with a single 100% accurate consolidated invoice, regardless of the number of agencies used.

PermPortô has already attracted the attention of existing de Poel clients, as well as triggering interest from several new sectors, including a very prominent broadcasting station. In the last month alone de Poel has announced two new clients, with several more in the pipeline.

In her new role Alison hopes to use her wealth of industry experience to take the division to the next phase of its development. By building on recent client wins, she hopes to emulate the success of the companyís temporary division and grow the permanent division to an equal size.
