The website, www.onrec.com, began with a database of job boards in the UK, with news being posted on a monthly basis. Today, the site has news posted daily, and contains databases of both suppliers and job boards in 57 countries.

Sixty five thousand people subscribe to Onrec.comís daily newsletters, while the search engines, Google and yahoo, check the site every 15 minutes for their news service. Every year, the company also publishes the Top 100 UK Online Recruitment Guide with information on the UKs most visited sites. All the companyís magazine editions, and reports, are available online.

In June 2004, Onrec.com joined forces with the London School of Economics to host a conference addressing online recruitment issues. This venture was attended by Human Resource professionals, recruiters, academics and government departments from all over the world.

Since that first conference, David has Chaired conferences in Brussels Belgium, Istanbul Turkey, Dublin Ireland, Sydney Australia, Chicago USA and numerous conferences in London.

David Hurst says: ìWe are keen to provide our readers with current news in whatever format they prefer. If they require daily email updates or to read the magazine and reports online, we are happy to supply it in the format that suits them. I enjoy bringing people together at our conferences.î

ìThe opportunity to create a unique mix of speakers and delegates to learn and debate is a task I relish.î

ìItís thanks to the work of our staff, both past and present, that we have managed to achieve as much as we have, so quicklyî.
