Summersault crowned in glory!

.

ìInspired design Ö aimed at the heart of their target audienceî, was the judges comment and the reason why Leamington Spa-based employee, customer and business publisher Summersault Communications won the Newsletter, Newspaper or Magazine category, for Asdaís Dare employee magazine at the annual Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Presidentís Grand Prix Awards.

All of the gold award winners from each of the regional and national CIPR PRide Awards events from the 2006/7 season competed head-to-head on this national platform, to see who would take the top award across each of the 17 PRide categories.

Editor of Dare, Summersaultís Ian Winterton, commented: ìWe based our design ñ a pastiche of Heat magazine ñ on extensive research with Asda employees to find out what they really wanted from their magazine. We made the colleagues the real stars of the bi-monthly publication and wrote business issues in a jargon-free, fun and irreverent tone. Itís fantastic for our team of designers and journalists to be recognised by our industry peers in this way.î

Summersaultís Managing Director Brian Jeavons added: ìTo be told by the judges that our magazine ìwouldnít look out of place on the shelves of an Asda storeî shows how hard we work with our clients to engage their colleagues within their business. Yet again ñ a really star performance from the Summersault team.î
