Recruitment consultancy Badenoch & Clark has been awarded two Recruiter Awards for Excellence, for Best Public Sector Recruitment Agency and Best Training & Development.
Badenoch & Clarkís Public Sector Division was commended for leading the way ìthrough its innovation, its consistent financial performance and all round excellence.î Initiatives that impressed the judges include: a Commitment Charter guaranteeing a high level of service; candidate care including a choice of paydays and six-monthly appraisals; actively supporting the public sector, for instance by hosting topical seminars and promoting diversity.

Badenoch & Clarkís commitment to training was also praised. Recruiter in particular cited initiatives such as a wide range of training methods, immediate and longer-term evaluation, external HR consultation, a 360-degree feedback tool and a leadership framework.

The awards were presented to the company by comedian Jimmy Carr at a black tie ceremony at The Grosvenor House Hotel, London, on Wednesday 13th April 2005.
