WorkWorld Media Awards 2007 - judges announced

The Work Foundation is today pleased to announce the judges for this yearís WorkWorld Media Awards

The Work Foundation is today pleased to announce the judges for this yearís WorkWorld Media Awards.

The judges will be chaired by Will Hutton, chief executive of The Work Foundation, and have been confirmed as:

- Simon Caulkin, management editor of The Observer
- Richard Donkin, Financial Times columnist
- Baroness Denise Kingsmill, senior advisor to RBS
- David Lloyd, founder of Channel 4ís ëDispatchesí and visiting professor of journalism at City University
- Dona Roche-Tarry, HR director, business banking, Barclays Bank
- Sue Scholes, communications director, Amec
- Martin Shankleman, work correspondent, BBC News
- Sir Martin Sorrell, chief executive of WPP

The awards are now in their 21st year and are sponsored by AMEC, the international project management and engineering services company. The closing date for entries is Friday 9th November 2007.

All journalists wishing to enter are invited to visit http://www.theworkfoundation.com/aboutus/media/workworldmediaawards.aspx where an entry form can be printed off.

Will Hutton, chief executive of The Work Foundation said: ëThe WorkWorlds celebrate the craft of reporting and broadcasting about work and working life. Running since 1986, they remain the key specialist awards for journalists who focus on work, economics, business and management.í
