Workthing named one of the top UK companies of the future

according to the Corporate Research Foundation

Workthing, the online employment network from the Guardian Media Group has been featured in the first edition of ìTop UK Companies of the Futureî from the Corporate Research Foundation, published by HarperCollinsBusiness. In the book, the best companies of the new economy take their place alongside traditional businesses.

Labelled ìthe essential guide to the high performing companies of tomorrowî the book contains in-depth profiles of all companies that demonstrated expertise, dialogue with customers, technological vision, and innovative people policies. Other companies featured in the book include; Cisco, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Lastminute.com and Expedia.

During 2001, Workthingís first full year in operation, the Internet Recruitersí Network and Association voted Workthing the Best Jobsite of the Year. User statistics, measured by Hitwise, also revealed that Workthing received the number one share of online visits to recruitment sites from July to the end of October.
