In contrast to the recruitment sector, very little formal research has been done specifically on the subject of resignations until very recently. This is hardly surprising as organisations would not like identified as hotbeds of high labour turnover. Now at last a substantial survey on the reasons for leaving and those industries most affected has been published.

Kauser Kanji has completed a survey of 89,000 individual leavers worldwide and 32,000 in the UK alone. The results are very revealing and provide pointers as to which are the industries of the future, and he is prepared to come and share this information with members.
