West Lothian Council have just completed the agreement to use HR Director, a powerful recruitment system provided by Scottish-based XPT Solutions. The system has been in use at Perth and Kinross Council for 4 months and is proving to be a big success for both the company and the council who are already making very substantial savings.
David Longstaff, CEO of the software firm said, ìWe are very excited about the future; we have now demonstrated the system to a further 11 Councils and are in varying stages of negotiations with them. In addition, another 40 around the UK are now setting up demonstrations. All of them are saying the same, that our system is way ahead of the pack.î
West Lothian Council plan to switch on the new system in January 2003 allowing users to search for vacancies, and carry out the complete application transaction securely online. Alan Marsh, the WLC Human Resources Operations Manager said ìThe Council looks forward to building a leading edge recruitment administration facility in conjunction with XPT and I am confident that our new relationship will provide opportunities to develop our concepts in this area further.î
HR Director, which not only allows online applications but has a powerful workflow and back-office solution, is in use both in private and public sector by organisations as diverse as Scottish and Newcastle and Lothian and Borders Police.
