CoreInsight Worldwide Limited has announced the commencement of their DTI-funded (through the Small Business Service, East of England Region) CORPORATE PSYCHOMETRICS FEASIBILITY STUDY PROJECT, launched in February 2003. CoreInsight Worldwide Limited applied for and received a SMART Feasibility Study Award for this Project which is primarily concerned with the creation of an Internet-delivered, 'Real-time' Corporate Psychometrics Testing System that is entirely 'commerce-based' and 'Job-related'.
This feasibility study will enable the construction of a working prototype that will be submitted for scientific 'Peer-Review' and validation. It is designed as an innovative technology-based psychometric testing system that is specifically tailored for the Corporate recruitment and staff-assessment market, involving the usage of inter-relational databases that 'design' psychometric tests proactively to address 'job descriptions', 'industry sectors', 'corporate cultures' and other job-specific assessment issues. This system will ultimately allow corporate employers to create their own scientifically validated psychometric test(s), conducted in real-time via the Internet and at a fraction of the current costs, for any 'job' that exists within their organisation.
Another objective is to be able to provide a substantially improved level of accuracy in terms of 'business-related' Psychometric Test results than is currently achievable by existing methods.
CoreInsight expects to ultimately market this service to corporate customers within the UK, and to licence the use of our system to interested 3rd parties throughout the world. This will be particularly relevant to the use of psychometric testing in the field of recruitment, where costs are currently prohibitive.
