Totaljobs.com and emailjob.com create Anglo-French online recruitment solution

The deal will provide UK companies and recruitment agencies
the opportunity to recruit for vacancies in France via a partnership with leading French job board, emailjob.com.

Totaljobs.com chose emailjob.com as it is has an established brand name and dominant position in the French job board market along with a strong reputation amongst its French customer base.

The deal provides UK recruiters with easy and cost-effective access to a large pool of French jobseekers through a single point of contact, and vice versa for French recruiters. It is part of totaljobs.com''s on-going strategy to partner with market leading job sites across the world in a bid to provide a global, cost effective recruitment solution for clients.

One UK organisation likely to benefit from this initiative is The Carphone Warehouse. Says Peta Clifton, European HR Projects Manager: One of our key aims is to create an employer brand across Europe, so the partnership
between totaljobs.com and emailjob.com is an exciting development. Over the past two years, totaljobs.com has become a valued and trusted recruitment tool for The Carphone Warehouse, and we are exploring the possibility of
developing a European employer brand through online media in the future.

Commenting on the alliance, Rob Perkins, Web Site Director at totaljobs.com said: A growing number of our customers need to recruit for operations in France, and have looked to us to provide an Anglo-French solution. This combines the best of the UK and France, rather than the ''one size fits all'' approach of some of our competitors. They will be now be able to do this by posting jobs on emailjob.com, which receives around 700,000 unique users per
month and has over 475,000 jobseekers on its database.

Ali Kazeroonian, International Sales Manager at emailjob.com said: Increasing numbers of French workers want to experience working in a different country - and the UK is usually top of the list because of the quality of jobs it has on offer. By partnering with totaljobs.com, we can provide jobseekers and recruiters with a solution to their recruitment needs.

The agreement follows a similar sales and marketing partnership that totaljobs.com recently announced with seek.com.au, Australasia''s number one job board as well as careerjunction.sa, the leading job board in South
Africa.
