TaxTalent.com Hits the 20,000 Member Mark

TaxTalent.com, online resource for Tax Professionals, today announced that it had signed its 20,000th member.



Since the site announced its 12,000th member almost two years ago, thatís an annualized growth of over 33% per year.

With site visitor statistics up significantly, new membership is expected to continue climbing. Those 12-month statistics include:

ï Total site visitors and daily unique visitors, both up 24%

ï Monthly unique visitors up 20%

ï Repeat visitors up 27%

The site was launched in 2001 and the changes to it since then have been driven by the members. Key to the siteís success is reacting to the needs of members, both tax professionals and those on the hiring authority side, explains site Manager Linda Montesano.

But also key to the siteís expansion in both members and services, Montesano continued, are industry trends. Thereís a phenomenal demand in the job marketplace for Tax Professionals. This swing in the hiring pendulum has been pushed by the economyís increase, Sarbanes Oxley legislation, and the decreased number of individuals entering the profession.

Montesanto said the site will continue keeping up with the increased demands of the industry with the cutting-edge tools and services that members have come to expect from TaxTalent.com.

TaxTalent.com was launched in February, 2001. Its Resum Database is the Webís only dedicated database of Tax Professionals, and its Salary Comparison Tool contains over 15,000 financial profiles - the largest of its kind.
