Club of the Year (under 1,000 members)
Club of the Year (1,000 - 2,500 members)
Club of the Year (2,500 - 4,000 members)

For the first time in FIA (Fitness Industry Association) history a FIA Operator of the Year Award was presented this year.

This award is open to any operator and recognises the operatorís commitment to raising the standards within the industry and engaging the local community.

This year's FIA Operator of the Year

What is FLAME?

The FLAME (Fitness Leadership and Management Excellence) awards recognise and applaud excellence and best practice within the health and fitness industry. The awards provide clubs and centres with rigorous independent assessments to help benchmark their facility.

Who should enter?

Each year a wide range of sites from all sectors compete to receive the prestigious FLAME awards to prove that they are amongst the very best facilities in the country.

All clubs and centres will benefit from taking part in the FLAME process as it is designed to assess every aspect of the business.

Criteria for entry

The facility must:

ï Be an FIA member.
ï Be compliant with the FIA's Code of Practice.
ï Have been operating throughout the full period, 1st July 2007 - 30th June 2008.
ï Have no ongoing legal action.
ï Have no ongoing personnel grievances.
