s1jobs announces its 2,000th mobile job application

2,000 job seekers have now taken advantage of the first mobile jobsite in the UK to offer full application and job alert facilities.

s1jobs which is Scotlandís main online recruitment site set up a site designed specifically for mobile phones in June last year and since then 2,000 people have used it to apply for jobs with their CVís attached. The site has also received almost 100,000 visits in total since launching.

The s1jobs mobile site can be accessed by anyone with a mobile phone or PDA that has internet access. s1jobs also provides an SMS alerts service so that a jobseeker can receive a job alert regardless of where they are, click on the link to the site, view the vacancy details and then apply ñ all on their mobile.
