Resume.com, a 3-year-old Manhattan firm, is being acquired by the career services division of Adecco S.A., a Swiss company that is the world''s largest employment services concern.
Founded in 1999, Resume.com counsels job seekers and helps them prepare for interviews and write and distribute their resumes. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Resume.com management will remain with the company and report to Adecco''s career services division in Woodcliff Lake, N.J.
Resume.com CEO John Waller, who was also a founder of one-time new media darling Interactive Imaginations, will become chief operating officer of the online firm.
