The Awards aim is to recognize the impressive efforts made by companies to promote and market themselves.
With the UK online recruitment market now said to be worth 300m per year, and with almost half of all jobseekers using the internet as their preferred method when looking for work, it is no surprise that the contest to win an Onrec.com Award is more competitive than ever.
David Hurst, MD of Onrec.com commented ìWe are experiencing new opportunities in online recruitment with the advent of social networks, and organisations are really thinking outside the box when it comes to new and inventive ways to attract candidates.î

He concluded ìWe have awards that recognise those organisations that aim to educate the market of the benefits of using the Internet to recruit staff, as well as The Onrec.com Personality of the Year 2008, which will be awarded to the individual who has made the most positive impact within the sector.î
