OnlineBenefits and Wackenhut Ink Alliance

New Services Help Companies Reduce Employment Risks

Uniondale, NY ñ OnlineBenefits, Inc., an Internet-based HR solutions firm, and The Wackenhut Corporation, a leading provider of security and related services, announced today that they have formed an alliance to offer advisory information and a full suite of services that will help clients manage their employment risks.

Fraud, theft, sexual harassment, and workplace violence are all realities companies face every day. To reduce these risks, it is important for them to know whom theyíre hiring, if their workforce is drug-free, if they have employees engaging in unethical business practices, and why good employees are leaving their company.

ìWackenhut offers world-class background screening and hotline services,î says Alan Cohen, CEO of OnlineBenefits, Inc., ìand now at a very attractive price we can make these corporate services available to smaller companies that havenít had access to them until now.î

William T. Hill, President, Consulting and Investigation Services for The Wackenhut Corporation agrees. ìThis is one of those relationships that just makes sense,î Hill says. ìBoth companies are in business to help employers. We believe OnlineBenefits complements our services and provides us with a new channel to reach employers.î

Distributed through OnlineBenefitsí popular Client Community(TM) portal, these new ìEmployment Practicesî will consist of detailed advisory information about the business necessity, the regulatory environment and the processes involved in such areas as background screening, employee drug testing, ethics and compliance issues, and exit interviews. ìThis up-to-date information is provided free of charge to clients to help them make informed decisions,î according to Cohen. ìEmployers who want assistance in any of these areas will now be able to click through from the portal and register as a Wackenhut client.î

Employers register with Wackenhut just once at no cost, and they get immediate access to background screenings, drug testing, Anything2Say (exit interviews), and Safe2Say (the ethics and compliance hotline). They pay only for the services they use on a case-by-case basis.

The Employment Practices will be launched in early summer.
