A major new jobs network is celebrating its one millionth job advert in just five months

A major new jobs network is celebrating its one millionth job advert in just five months.

AllTheTopBananas.com only launched in April, and has hit the impressive target seven months ahead of schedule.

At any one time it has more than 220,000 active jobs.

MD Dave Martin said the success is down to using technology in a unique way.

He said: ìWe donít ask customers to supply us with information, thatís the old fashioned way of doing it. Instead we have developed a unique piece of internet software called Boris the Job Spider.î

ìBoris trawls our partnerís sites every day looking for new jobs, and then compiles the information automatically. This makes AllTheTopBananas.com a set up and forget service.î

AllTheTopBananas.com bills itself as the next generation of job hunting websites.

It powers the jobs section for many partners. And each job displayed on the main site links back to the recruiterís website.

Each job is available to a rapidly increasing total audience reach of more than 5 million unique users.

The Banana Network includes big name sites like manchester.com, chester.com, miltonkeynes.com the Itchy network, and the Community Times sites.

Job seekers have access to 220,000 jobs in a single place. The information is accurate and timely thanks to the technology used. And itís easier for jobseekers to find jobs in a specific geographical location.

Each site in the Banana Network also allows job seekers to upload CVs and register for job updates.

Dave added: ìWe are committed to being the most helpful job site ñ thatís our mission. If a feature doesnít help job seekers or our partners, then we throw it out. Itís this approach which has seen our massive growth in such a quick time.î
