New website will break down prejudice in the UK Job Market

says cvtrader.com

A new website, cvtrader.com clams it will go a long way towards beating prejudice in the UK Job Market..

Job seekers can register, and create and print a professional cv, free of charge at the site, simply by following user-friendly instructions.

Employers who register at the site can then browse cvís free of charge.

Craig Ward, MD of UK Web Directories Limited who devised the site explained,
îEmployers will only be able to see a truncated version of the cv, but will be able see the candidates education and employment history, as well as a profile that the candidate has provided. The age, sex, race or religion, will not be displayed. Similarly employers will not be able to tell from the cv whether the candidate is disabled or able-bodied.î

By using cvtrader.com, employers will be able to demonstrate that they are selecting applicants for interview based purely on their skills and experience rather than by prejudice or bias.

ìThis we believe, will go a long way towards eliminating prejudice from the job market.î said Craig Ward
