Net-Temps, the online job destination for staffing companies, announced today it has been named a 2005 Userís Choice Awards winner by WEDDLEís, a specialty publisher known as the ìZagat of the online employment industry.î WEDDLEís Userís Choice Awards are the only awards where actual usersónot pundits and expertsóget to pick the winners. This is the fourth consecutive year Net-Temps has received this distinction.
ìThese Awards are especially important right now,î says WEDDLEís Publisher Peter Weddle, ìbecause there are over 40,000 job boards and career portals in operation on the Internet. Knowing which sites offer the best services and support can spell the difference between success and failure, whether youíre looking for a new job or for a new employee.î For a complete list of the 2005 winners of WEDDLEís Userís Choice Awards, visit the Awards area at its website (www.weddles.com).
PJ Beaulac, Net-Temps Vice President of Marketing, stated, ìNet-Temps continuously seeks ways to provide an outstanding recruitment service for our staffing customers and the tools and resources jobseekers need in their job search. Being voted once again as one of the best in the online recruitment industry by actual users tells us we are delivering what they need.î
Voting for the Userís Choice Awards takes place each year at the WEDDLEís website. The process is similar to the fan balloting that Major League Baseball conducts to select its annual All Stars. Job seekers and recruiters may cast their ballot for any job board or career portal operating on the Internet and for as many or as few sites as they desire. Over 15,000 unique votes were cast for the 2005 Awards and over 150 different sites received at least one vote.
WEDDLEís Userís Choice Awards are presented to the thirty sites that receive the most votes during the calendar year. Their popularity among their users is proof positive that they represent the elite of the online employment industry today.
