Launch of www.DiversityCareers.ca

DiversityCareers.ca launches, Canadas one stop Diversity Job site that targets all different diverse groups which are skilled immigrants, visible minorities, person with disabilities, aboriginals, mature worker(45 ), Canadians and women in the workplace.

The significance and value of niche job boards in Canada are now being recognized by employers and jobseekers. The advantage of niche career sites is that Recruiters target job seekers which belong to a certain diverse group and with particular background. This process boosts the probability of connecting qualified candidates with their job postings which results to diversity hiring. Corporations are now using niche e-Recruiting to get an audience of skilled diverse employees.

There is currently a need for a Diversity job board that provides to the entire diverse group especially for skilled immigrants and person with disabilities says, David Solano, Spokesperson and Account Executive of DiversityCareers.ca. With the job board technology that our site have, we hope to facilitate employers that promote employment equity and diversity in the workplace. We put the site up on July 4th and Employment Resource Centres such as Scarborough Job Finding club, SCEA, Goodwill and Skills for Change to name a few have embraced us and started promoting our job site. Corporate companies like RBC, Adecco, Hewlett Packard, Pepsi Bottling Group, Manpower, Purolator, Aramark, and Fedex have all came on board to collaborate with DiversityCareers.ca to promote employment equity and diversity in the workplace.
