Jobsite today announces the start of an exciting new campaign targeting the buoyant Scottish recruitment market. Running as part of a two month integrated marketing initiative, activity kicks off today with an intensive four week advertising campaign on Radio Clyde - Scotlandís oldest and most listened to radio station across Glasgow and West Central Scotland. Designed specifically for Scotland, the 30 second ads profile the diverse range of Scottish vacancies available on Jobsite.
Additionally, Jobsite and its dedicated niche ScotRecuit will be sponsoring and making the key note speech at The Scottish Recruitment Forum on 6th September. Taking place at the Radisson SAS Hotel in Glasgow the forum is free for recruitment agencies to attend and will focus on the staffing issues, influences, challenges and opportunities to be found in Scotland.
Jobsite will also be advertising for the first time in the Scottish Mail on Sunday and Scottish Daily Mail, targeting passive and active job seekers looking for new opportunities in September and October, which are traditionally some of the busiest job seeking months of the year.
David Gumley, Manager for Jobsite Scotland and its niche ScotRecruit says: ìScotland is an increasingly important jobs market for us. The latest labour market research from the Bank of Scotland reveals a buoyant labour market with firm demand for staff, rising salaries and decreasing unemployment, with particularly strong demand for permanent healthcare staff and temporary engineering and construction workers.
ìThrough our unique combination of Jobsite.co.uk attracting multi-sector, multi-regional markets, coupled with our dedicated Scottish site ScotRecruit and niche sector sites such as RecruitConstruction, PurelyIT and EnginnerBoard we are able to help Scottish recruiters and employers reach the widest cross section of potential job seekers. Over the last 12 months, we have seen significant growth in Scotland and felt the time was now right to focus on strengthening our brand awareness and commitment to the Scottish market place.ì
