jobpilot wins Euro600,000 e-recruiting contract with Vodafone

jobpilot to provide Vodafone with complete end-to-end recruitment solution

jobpilot, Europe's leading career market on the internet, announces today that it has won a major contract worth Ä600,000 with Vodafone, the world's largest mobile telecommunications network operator, to provide the company with a complete end-to-end recruitment solution. The latest win with Vodafone marks the first truly multi-national organisation to use jobpilot's e-recruiting software - workflow pro - and coincides with a customer milestone of 1000 companies now using jobpilot's range of workflow solutions.

jobpilot workflow pro is a web-based software solution for large corporate users and recruitment agencies, delivering flexible and scalable workflow solutions to help companies' HR departments coordinate all their online and offline recruitment processes. By handling all the routine and administrative processing tasks associated with the recruitment hiring cycle, companies are able to focus on the profitable part of the day, namely, getting the best candidates.

jobpilot's solution complements and extends the back-end processes of Vodafone's award-winning recruitment website. By providing a better search facility and a more effective posting of jobs, workflow pro is enabling Vodafone to improve its recruitment services to potential candidates as well as making real cost and time savings in its overall recruitment process.

The advanced functionality of the workflow solution provides key users with access to the same central database online, at the same time delivering real-time information about candidates, jobs and recruitment activities. Moreover, the solution enables companies to place adverts online on to job-boards, such as jobpilot's own European websites (www.jobpilot.com) using a pre-designed or individual template. Incoming responses can be managed from pre-selection via tailor-made application forms through to correspondence with candidates.

Dr Roland Metzger, CEO of jobpilot, commented: The performance of workflow pro speaks for itself, however the contract with Vodafone reinforces the emerging trend we're seeing by big corporates to automate their search of workforce talent. Despite the growing number of redundancies and unemployment, there is an increasing requirement for precision hiring, which is confirmed by analyst research that predicts that the e-recruitment solutions market is expected to grow to $4 billion by 2003*.

Because the European marketplace currently has a relatively low penetration of such solutions, we believe that jobpilot is in a very strong position to capitalise on its recruitment brand and customer base and become Europe's number one provider of recruitment management software solutions.

jobpilot was the first European online recruitment company to offer comprehensive recruitment workflow solutions to customers in all 15 countries where the career portal is present.
