The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and AfterCollege, the largest career network for college students and alumni, have formed a strategic partnership that will provide access to job opportunities to tens of thousands of electrical engineering students nationwide. IEEE, in conjunction with AfterCollege, will offer students exclusive entry level and internship career opportunities directly from the IEEE web site. At the same time, AfterCollege will enable students to research relevant job opportunities from its nationwide network of employers through Job Resource Centers available on IEEE student branch web sites.
AfterCollege currently provides Job Resource Centers to over 1,000 engineering and technology departments and student associations throughout the country. Through the new partnership, a customized online job board powered by AfterCollege will be offered to each of the 407 IEEE student branches providing their members and alumni with targeted job opportunities and announcements at the local, state and national level.
