Growth in opportunities for accountants

Business success for national recruitment consultancy (Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire)

After only 8 months in Milton Keynes, specialist accountancy recruitment consultants Andrew Farr Associates have further expanded their business. Due to the higher than expected number of local businesses turning to the company, they have been forced to relocate to larger offices, further confirming their status as the UKs fastest growing finance recruiter.

Nicola Foulner-Hunter, Nigel Kibler and Katie Courtney have joined the existing team of commerce and industry and public practice consultants.

Nicola quickly became a CIMA accountant after graduating from university. She then moved in to accountancy recruitment working both the senior qualified and part-qualified markets for 5 years. Nicola will be focusing on developing the Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire qualified markets as well as assisting with the existing Milton Keynes recruitment.

Nigel joins Andrew Farr Associates with 9 years in finance recruitment. Nigel has previously worked with MD Andy Farr and has also worked as a managing consultant with niche recruiters. Nigel will be focusing on growing and further establishing the Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire qualified market.

Katie has worked within the Milton Keynes recruitment market for a number of years, focusing more recently within the public sector and previously commercial industry. Katie is focusing on supporting the development of the Milton Keynes service.

The team have also moved to the prestigious and award winning BE offices on Avebury Boulevard. Adam Edwards, regional manager for Andrew Farr Associates comments ìthe offices reflect our service: They are accessible, professional, modern and the best in Milton Keynes!î Edwards continues ìThese new offices give us the ability to extend our service even furtherî.

Andrew Farr Associates specialises in placing qualified accountants from those who have recently passed their final exams, right the way through to Financial Director level within all sectors of commerce and industry. In addition, the specialist focus of the public practice division allows the placement of professionals at all levels into the many and varied practices within the region.

ìWith a dedicated team operating across professional services and commerce, we are well versed in identifying the current and future business leaders in our specialist fieldsî comments managing director Andy Farr. Farr suggests that this is ìperhaps why since our opening in Milton Keynes we have become regarded as the recruitment firm of choice to businesses and practices within the Northern Home Counties, Northamptonshire and the surrounds.î

It is further evidence still that the local economy is strong and growing, despite predictions from some leading economists and analysts. It is also testament to the fact that good customer service and traditional business values are still held in the highest regard.
