Full seminar programme confirmed for the growing your own business conference

Experts from successful leading companies such as Local Group, Advoco Consultancy Services and Business Referral Exchange will be among an array of successful and inspiring speakers during the informative seminar programme at the Growing Your Own Business Showcase & Conference on 3 & 4 June 2005 at the SECC, Glasgow.

All the presenters at Growing Your Own Business are leading entrepreneurs in their respective industries, and hold either founding or top-level positions in their companies.

The keynote speaker for the event is Phil Walsh, Chairman and Finance Director of the Local Group. Phil will be speaking about Taking your business to new heights, where he will tell the story of Local Groupís growth over the past two years and will share his experiences in establishing a strong place in the market, maintaining consistent growth and being competitive.

Other speakers on Friday include Andy Lopata, Managing Director of Business Referral Exchange, who will be speaking about Top tips for fruitful networking and Richard OíConnor, Co-Founder of Ambergreen Internet Marketing, who will lead a seminar titled Marketing a small business.

Alistair Brown, Director of Advoco Consultancy Services, will open the presentations on Saturday with a seminar entitled Funding business growth. Also on Saturday, Mike Segall, Managing Director of New Business Generation, will present on the subject How to generate new business.

The Growing Your Own Business Showcase & Conference is co-located with The British Franchise Exhibition, Scotlandís leading franchise event. The show, which is the focal point of Scottish Franchise Week, offers visitors the opportunity to meet with a wide range of well-established franchised companies and assess the benefits of running their own business as part of an established franchise brand.
