Frustrated with being unemployed<br>in Hong Kong?

Seminar Wednesday, 22 January 2003

Having difficulty getting back to work?
(if not you, is a friend or ex-colleague in this situation?)

Come, Listen and Ask the Experts as they share their views on how you can get back to work in these difficult times.
We know that job-hunting is never easy, and that being unemployed can leave one stressed and even depressed.
Help is available in the form of a range of headhunters, outplacement specialists, and HR professionals, who will share how to:

Remain upbeat and positive.
Get focused and execute an effective job-search strategy.
Network effectively.
Write and present a CV and application letters.
Interview and communicate with success.
Think out of the box: consider self-employment or working in China.

After being out of work for almost a whole year, I attended the job-hunting seminar. The content delivered was good for me, giving me back a lot of confidence. I have now landed a job, which I am interested in, one that I think I can develop my career on. I sure would recommend my friends to attend another seminar.
J. Chan a note of thanks from a participant who got back to work two months after the seminar.

It has been a very encouraging and positive seminar. I hope that there will be regular meetings as such for job seekers. B. Yeung
