The event drew over 21,000 attendees on-site and enabled companies in the UK and France to leverage Arel Spotlight, free of charge, to interview over 60 prospective employees present at the job fair.

National Days of Summer Jobs, a targeted two-day event designed to help youth acquire professional experience in their chosen profession, is organized by the Ministre de la Jeunesse, des Sports et de la Vie associative (Ministry of Youth, Sports and Life) in association with ANPE (French Job Center) and the Center for the Information of Youth. Five remote companies interviewed over 60 candidates using Arel Spotlight for 16 hours during the event.
The use of rich-media conferencing and collaboration technology is perfectly suited for connecting recruiters with prospective employees. It offers companies around the globe the ability to connect with and interview job applicants in a natural environment at a fraction of the cost of an in-person interview. The ability to collaborate in real time, share documents, and record and archive interviews for use later in the selection process are all added benefits of utilizing the Arel Spotlight solution.

Sandrine Calvet, Director of Recruitment for Les Villages Club du Soleil (The Towns Club of the Sun), a major travel agency and entertainment company in France, said, ìUsing the system was as easy and comfortable as having a real in-person meeting with an applicant. The ability to work together on a common document while being able to sense each applicantís reaction and get a real feeling for their personality while remaining remote offers new perspectives to the way our recruitment methods can evolve. This definitely sets a new standard in our vision of recruitment.î

The quality of the meetings that occurred with Arel Spotlight were of the highest standard.î

Gal Tempier, CEO of COMIRIS Technologies, said, ìWe were honored to be part of such an important event in the lives of first-time job seekers.
