Five Year Old PRG (Belfast) is Short Listed for Five Workplace and Employment Awards

Recruitment Consultants PRG, the accountancy, legal, financial services and senior management sector specialist, has celebrated its fifth birthday by winning five nominations in the inaugural Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards.

With offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Belfast, the five award categories for which PRG has been shortlisted are: recruitment agency of the year; best place to work and work life balance, whilst two PRG consultants - Rachel Auld and Orla Milligan - have been shortlisted for the recruitment consultant of the year category.

Steve McCutcheon, managing director of PRG, said, ìI am delighted to hear that we have been shortlisted for five awards - all five categories for which we submitted an entry. This is a tremendous achievement and testament to the skills and efforts of our excellent people.

PRG provides specialist services for all of the Big Four accountancy firms as well as all the major mid-tier firms in Scotland and Ireland. More than two-thirds of its turnover ñ on track for 7m this year ñ is generated by accountancy recruitment, placing all grades of staff from ledger clerks to CFOs.

Celebrating only its fifth birthday, PRG has been quick to take on the mantle of one of Scotlandís fastest growing and most successful companies. Currently employing almost 50 staff, it is in the process of doubling its payroll at both its Glasgow and Edinburgh offices and has plans to open an office in Dublin by the end of next year.

PRG will learn if it has won any of the five awards for which it has been nominated on 21st June when the first Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards ceremony takes place at Ramada Hotel, Belfast.
