First Choice goes head to head

There is no bigger compliment for a company than to go head to head with its major competitor and win. First Choice Software (tel: 01256 314600) did just this after ASL Recruitment called in the two leading recruitment software suppliers to demonstrate how best its software could benefit the agency. First Choice came out on top with its popular RDB Pro, not only because is it intuitive to use but installation is straightforward and operation becomes faster and more efficient.

ìAn agency who we heavily network with and for whom we have great respect had recently bought, at great expense, new recruitment softwareî explains Jason Hansford-Adams, Director at ASL Recruitment ñ providing high quality recruitment throughout Kent and East Sussex. Looking to upgrade, Jason went to view for himself whether the rival software would be right for his consultancy. Jason carefully weighed up advantages and disadvantages of both, and the reason for purchasing RDB Pro was, he says: ì Overall I thought it the better system, it has proved to be extremely reliable and as a result there is no downtime saving valuable IT resources. Weíve gained something that fits into the consultants working routine that hasnít become an extra chore ñ consultants are notoriously bad with computers and admin.î

Adhering to industry compliances can be an administrative nightmare for most recruitment agencies and many consultants find it unnecessarily time consuming. Jason explains: ìRDB Pro makes us more able to comply without additional effort, meaning my consultants can focus on what they do best, making placements. Weíve recently had a DTI inspection, which proved straightforward, everything they needed to see was there at the touch of a button.î
