Reaching 68 million hits per month and being the sixth busiest commercial job website in the UK means CV-Library has had to scale up its IT hardware. Going from a single server solution to a five server replicated environment will allow them to meet the demand of the rapidly increasing traffic and growth expectations.
CV-Library's Technical Director Brian Wakem comments: At peak times we are seeing over 10 job searches per second and five CV searches per second, these searches are very computationally intensive as we provide the most accurate results in the industry. Our five server replicated Linux cluster will allow us to continue to grow.
Serving inaccurate results is easy and fast, producing really accurate results is not, this is where we are always one step ahead of our competitors.
