BOND INTERNATIONAL SOFTWARE PLC<br>INTERIM RESULTS FOR THE SIX MONTHS TO 30 JUNE 2002<br>

Bond International Software plc, the specialist provider of software for the international recruitment and human resources industries, with operations in the UK, USA and Australia, today announces its interim results for the six months to 30 June 2002.

. Sales of 3,175,000 (2001 : 5,698,000).

. Pre-tax loss of 2,085,000 (2001: Pre-tax profit of 443,000) in line with management expectations.

. Very difficult trading in the US.

. Significant cuts made in the UK and US cost base, including closure of the Milan and San Diego offices.

. Continue to invest in product development ñ the lifeblood of a technology business.

. Cash of 1.0 million



Commenting on the results Chief Executive Steve Russell, said:
ìProspects in the short term remain slow but it is notable that the drop in sales has, in the main, been caused by decisions being delayed rather than deals being lostÖ we now feel that we are well placed to exploit the eventual upturn, brought about by those delayed decisions coming to fruition.î
