Australiaís Favourite Recruiters Honoured in 2007 SEEK Annual Recruitment Awards (SARAs)

The Australian recruitment industry celebrated in style last night as the countryís leading recruiters were honoured at the SEEK Annual Recruitment Awards (SARAs).

Celebrating its 5th year of recognising and awarding the outstanding performance of Australian recruitment agencies, the national awards were presented at a gala event in Sydney.

The SARAs give jobseekers the chance to identify and vote for their favourite recruitment agency. There are a number of award categories recognising that excellence is not determined by company size.

Joe Powell, SEEK Sales Director, said the SARAs have an important role to play in the recruitment industry.

Always on the look out for improvements, SEEK this year welcomed the Recruitment and Consulting Services Association (RCSA) on board as a partner. PricewaterhouseCoopers also joined the SARAs team, auditing this yearís votes.

Stephen Shepherd MRCSA, President of RCSA Australia & New Zealand, said that the SARAs are much more than a popularity contest.
