New Zealand's largest public healthcare provider chooses Recruitsoft to improve the quality of its external recruiting and internal mobility management processes to reduce cost, find quality candidates faster and improve retention Recruitsoft, Inc. the provider of staffing management solutions for large organizations, announced today the Auckland District Health Board (www.akhealth.co.nz), New Zealand's largest public healthcare provider and funder of public hospital and health services, selected the Recruitsoft Enterprise Staffing Management Solution to manage enterprise staffing, from internal mobility to external hiring.

Auckland District Health Board (ADHB) Chief Executive Officer Graeme Edmond commented, Delivering high quality healthcare to our population requires the best resources, both technical and human. A key priority for the Auckland District Health Board this year, therefore, is the recruitment of talented health professionals to maintain our high standards as we move forward into our new facilities and systems. Maintaining good control of workforce management through improved information technology is essential to the ongoing productivity of ADHB.

ADHB General Manager of Human Resources John Wood stated, After the government passed legislation that deregulated our industry, we began our healthcare operations in early 2001. Today, we have 21 district health boards responsible for managing funding for multiple regions as well as processes for nearly two million patients annually. It was clear that we needed a staffing solution that would attract, retain and redeploy talent in real-time across our organization. Recruitsoft's solutions for external recruiting and internal mobility management will allow us to do just that. We had been through a very extensive due diligence process prior to selecting Recruitsoft and had evaluated multiple vendors both locally and globally. Overall, we selected Recruitsoft because its solutions and vision match our long-term goals for the management of our workforce and because of their staffing expertise and understanding of the healthcare industry at large.

He continued, We believe Recruitsoft solutions will also help to enhance our reputation as an employer of choice by extending our branding to multiple audiences. In addition, we expect to gain consistent quality results such as improvements in productivity, reduction in sourcing spending and improved time-to-hire of quality candidates that will be measured, tracked and shared to stakeholders across our organization.

Recruitsoft Managing Director for Asia Pacific Paul Callander stated, The healthcare industry continues to experience shortages and high competition for skilled workers on a global scale. In today's knowledge-based economy, the right people continue to be a key strategic asset for every organization. ADHB is going through massive changes with new buildings and movement of people internally. However the organization clearly recognizes that its biggest single asset in today's knowledge economy is its workforce. ADHB looked closely at the costs associated with recruitment, turnover, retraining etc., and how this effected the productivity of the organisation and recognized this had to be enabled with the correct infrastructure in order to meet the organization's five-year strategic plan.

He added, Our configurable workflow platform is designed to meet the diverse needs and business intricacies of our large customers located around the world. We offer best practice workflows that can be designed according to fields such as job function, location, organization and work group. We are confident that with our technology and services, ADHB will improve its staffing processes to efficiently manage both internal mobility and external recruiting in real-time, in line with addressing retention issues and achieve the hard results that they are looking for over the long-term.
