50% of a recruiterís time is spent searching and screening CVs

There is a more efficient way!

A resent survey has revealed that over 45% of recruiters and recruitment managers spend in excess of 50% of their working day searching the Internet or screening their inboxís for CVs. For those recruiters that donít have the luxury of working alongside a resourcer will know, this is time that could be more profitably spent on the telephone talking to clients and candidates.

For a number of years U.S. recruiters and recruitment managers have outsourced their candidate searching and screening to specialists sourcing companies. This benefits them in a number of ways. Primarily from the timesaving aspect of not resourcing themselves, and secondly it gives them the ability to tap into a Sourcers specialist knowledge of advanced Internet sourcing. A sourcing company will; uncover hidden CVs, identify passive candidates for head hunting, unearth company employee directories and a host of other candidate information that would normally be inaccessible to recruiters. A Sourcing company will also manage advertising response, search online CV databases and undertake almost any other Internet-based recruitment assignment.

A UK Sourcing company has just been launched called OS2i.co.uk. Their services are aimed at UK recruiters and recruitment managers that feel their time could be better-spent building relations rather than spending hour upon hour searching the Internet and screening unsuitable CVs. The OS2i Sourcing team are experts in the art of Internet sourcing and have many years experience resourcing IT, Sales and marketing roles.

The OS2i-Sourcing Institute has bases in the UK and India, giving recruiters the ability to harness offshore manpower and expertise, while benefiting from low offshore costs.
