Recruitment specialist, the Mandeville Group, has gained accreditation to run in-house professional training programmes that will lead to national qualifications provided by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC).
Mandeville, which has offices near Maidenhead and in Manchester, can now run core skills training programmes for their consultants that form part of the RECís Certificate in Recruitment Practice.
To attain the accreditation, Mandeville submitted details of their consultantsí training programme to the REC, which conducted an audit against the content and syllabus of the Certificate in Recruitment Practice.
The qualification is currently held by more than 15,000 recruiters across the UK, with another 3,000 joining annually. Those holding the Certificate are eligible to use the letters CertRP to show their qualified status.
The RECís Certificate in Recruitment Practice is the first stage in a four step qualification framework available to recruiters. The Diploma ñ equivalent to Year One of a Degree in Recruitment Practice ñ started last autumn and gives students credits which they can use towards the degree.
As a result of an expansion of the qualification programmes the REC now offers, opportunities now exist for recruiters to study from Certificate to Diploma to BA and an MA in Recruitment Practice.
