Computer People in with the IT crowd

Recruiter is ì22nd Best Company to Work Forî says Sunday Times

Computer People has stormed into the top 25 of the Sunday Times ì100 Best Companies to Work Forî.

Computer People, part of the Adecco Group, was unveiled as the 22nd best place to work in the UK in the Sunday Timesí annual top 100 list, published yesterday (Sunday 9th March 2008). The result represents a major achievement for the recruiter, which has climbed 62 positions from last yearís placing of 84th.

Nick Dettmar, Computer Peopleís managing director, said: ìThis award isnít just about how we operate internally, itís about how we all feel about the work that weíre doing, and the service that we deliver. Weíre passionate about guiding people through their job journey, and helping them find roles that will take them to the next level is what we care about the most.î

As well as the overall placing, Computer People also weighed in as the best IT recruitment agency to work for, 3rd best recruitment agency overall and 4th overall for ìFun at Workî.

ìThe ìFun at Workî element is evident in the energy, enthusiasm and drive right across the company, and is what sets Computer People aside as such a great place to be,î continued Nick. ìFor us, linking people up with their perfect employer is what makes us tick, and to be rated so highly in this area reflects just how much everyone here really loves helping people move their careers along.î

The Sunday Times ìBest 100 Companies to Work Forî list, now in its sixth year, is drawn up based on the views of employees and the policies of employers. Companies entering the awards are judged on a basis of eight key themes; staff opinions on leadership, their manager, immediate colleagues, pay and benefits, wellbeing, the firmís willingness to give something back, peopleís personal development and overall sense of affiliation with their employers.
