Office Angels flying sky high

Office Angels secures eighth spot in Sunday Times Annual ëTop 100 Best Companies to Work for Awardsí

Office Angels has today been announced as the UKís eighth best company to work for in The Sunday Times annual and esteemed awards. Office Angels competed against over 600 businesses in all industry sectors and was the highest ranking in the recruitment sector.

Each year The Sunday Times invites UK businesses to enter the awards which have become a high profile event. Increasingly, companies are recognising the importance of having a motivated workforce, and participating in the Best Companies survey provides an annual health-check for businesses. Companies are assessed in 8 different categories including leadership, wellbeing and personal growth.

Office Angels employees were invited to fill in a questionnaire to find out how they felt about working for the company, what they liked most about it and why. Feedback from staff accounts for 90% of the overall marks, so the more positive they are the higher the ranking of the business.

High Climber
This year Office Angels flew up the list by an impressive 7 places, moving from number fifteen where it has been ranked for the past three years.

As well as making its way back into the top ten companies to work for, Office Angels also held onto its title as The UKís leading secretarial and office support recruitment consultancy for another year running. An incredible 87% of Office Angels staff stated they love working for their organisation and a whopping 92% of employees think their team is fun to work with.

In Safe Hands
The Sunday Times awards also revealed that 85% of Office Angels employees believe their manager cares for them as an individual ñ putting Office Angels at the top of the ëMy Manager Caresí category. Four out of five (82%) managers also regularly express appreciation for their employeeís work. This is a great testament to the effort and dedication Office Angels puts into ensuring its own Angels feel happy and valued within their roles.

Commenting on the results, David Clubb Managing Director of Office Angels states:

ìWeíre so thrilled to be ranked as the 8th Best Company to Work For. Especially as this is an award based almost entirely on the opinion of our colleagues at Office Angels which makes winning even more appreciated.

We pride ourselves on listening to our employees and responding to their requests and feedback, so itís fantastic to get such positive feedback from the people who count. Itís the ultimate compliment for us and shows we must be doing a lot of things very right. The award clarifies that not only are we one of the Top Ten Best Companies in the UK, but that weíre still regarded as the best recruitment consultancy to work for.î
