CEO Tom Atkinson says Coming from the Motor Industry where there is excellent management and statistical reporting, I was surprised how the recruitment industry is starved of meaningful business and comparative data. Of course I am aware of the REC work and much admire the work of Recruitment Industry Benchmarking Ltd but neither get to the real data reporting our Customers and many other recruitment companies seek in order to run their businesses effectively. I introduced real Temp sector margin reporting in a previous role and it was highly valued by many but that challenge was not picked up by my successors. However, we have a good insight into what our Customers need and what needs to be done to give others similar levels of reporting to what one would expect to see in the highly competitive Motor industry, which I use as my bench mark. Linking the operational and IT insights of the man who wrote our core system personally, my co director David Thornhill, has allowed our IT department to introduce the reporting we launch today, which is just a taster of what is to come.
MD David Thornhill says My vision is to make available excellent detailed web based management reporting specific to businesses in the recruitment industry. This is becoming available to our Customers first. Later, there will be an industry wide offering. Now that my team has dealt with the web based security and data collection issues, only other priorities hold us back from finishing the development of the reporting engine that we know as Bizibee.
Bizibee will become the web based management information system for the recruitment industry. Initially it will contain only core and confidential data. In time, and with the cooperation of other accurate data gatherers in whom we have confidence, it will compare actual performance with industry and sector analysis, providing an invaluable web based tool for those serious about operating in the recruitment industry.
