Norman Burden joins True North as Managing Partner & CEO

Ex MD of Imprint PLC, Norman Burden, has joined True North Human Capital as Managing Partner and CEO. True North is a management consultancy specialising in human capital management and works predominantly with large corporates developing strategies to find, keep and motivate the finest talent in the market place.

Burden comments on his appointment ìI am delighted to join True North. Having worked in the field of Human Resources for the last 20 years, I have been really excited by the pace of change in the sector in recent times. Burden has a history of making companies in the HR sector realize their potential. In 1994 he launched The EMR Group which was recently sold to The Greythorne Group for an undisclosed sum and in 2001 he was part of the IPO team which launched Imprint PLC, the search & selection business. As Managing Director, he oversaw the growth of that company to become a 500 plus consultant business with offices across Europe and Asia and a turnover of over 100 million.

Burden resigned from the company in May 2007 along with Chairman Pierce Casey and CEO Brian Hamill to take a ëwell earned restí.

Burden is joined at True North by several of his old management team from Imprint including Jo Dalton (Business Development Director), Richard Shea (Head of Sales and Marketing) and Candice Dowsett Verne (Head of Operation). On their appointment Burden comments ëIn Jo, Richard and Candice, True North have recruited an exceptional group of individuals who have all experienced great success in the past.
