Charterhouse Group International, the Ramsey-based provider of remuneration solutions to the global staffing industry, has appointed Mark Shortland as compliance director and group money laundering reporting officer.
In this role Mark will be working to ensuring compliance with all existing legislation as well as developing services in line with constantly changing legislation. This will provide piece of mind for the stakeholders and directors by reducing any potential risk for Charterhouse clients.
Mark has worked for Charterhouse since September 2005, joining as office manager of the corporate and trust team before progressing to operations director. Prior to this Mark worked for ILS, Barclays and MeesPierson.
He holds a law degree from the University of Hull, qualified as a Chartered Secretary in 2003, and is an Associate of the Compliance Institute.
Mark has a strong interest in sports and football but rarely gets time to enjoy because his active family life, particularly his two children, keeps him very busy.
