Larry Langer has joined Buck Consultants as a Principal in the firm's Chicago office

Langer joins Buck from Gabriel, Roeder, Smith & Company, where he headed its Chicago office. In addition to his consulting and client management expertise, Langer's experience includes responsibility for financial results, staff development, execution of business strategy, and new business.

At Buck, Langer will lead the public sector retirement practice of the Chicago Office and will be responsible for the account management of several existing public sector retirement clients.

Langer received his bachelor's degree in actuarial science from Central Michigan University. He is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and an Enrolled Actuary. He is also a frequent speaker at professional conferences.
