Greythorn Group acquires leading UK Marketing & HR recruiter

The Greythorn Group, has made its fifth acquisition in less than eighteen months with the addition of leading Marketing & HR recruiter, The EMR Group, in a deal announced today

International recruitment specialist, the Greythorn Group, has made its fifth acquisition in less than eighteen months with the addition of leading Marketing & HR recruiter, The EMR Group, in a deal announced today.

With more than 50 consultants in London and Leeds, EMR is one of the largest recruiters in Marketing in the UK and works with the majority of the top 200 brands in the country In addition their sister brand Ortus, is a leading player in interim Marketing recruitment and a growing force within the Human Resources(HR) market.

Backed by private equity house, Englefield Capital, the Greythorn Groupís aim is to build a major global recruitment player, covering all key world markets, through a series of strategic acquisitions and organic growth. Greythorn IT was its first acquisition in September 2006. Banking and finance specialist WH Recruitment, which has offices in Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore, joined the Group in December 2006, followed by UK based finance recruiter, Marks Sattin, in February 2007 and legal recruiter, Laurence Simons International, in June 2007. Greythorn Group is now operating from 26 offices in 19 cities and 12 countries.
