AF Selection Announce Leukaemia CARE as their Charity for 2008

AF Selection, the Sutton based Advertising, PR, Marketing and Design Recruitment firm have announced that they will be fundraising for Leukaemia CARE during their 20th anniversary year in 2008.

26,000 people are diagnosed with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and the allied blood disorders every year, and Leukaemia CARE provides support and information for them. The charity does not receive any government, lottery or NHS funding, but relies solely on fundraising, donations and legacies to maintain our existing care and support services.

Emma Tee, who oversees A F Selectionís fundraising each year, explains ìthis year rather than simply holding fundraising events through the year, weíve decided to donate to Leukaemia CARE each time find a job for one of our candidates. Itís always our favourite moment when we manage to find the right employee for our clients, and now it will be even more rewarding as we know Leukaemia CARE will be sharing in our success.î

Eve Martin, Deputy Chief Executive at Leukaemia CARE said ìthis is a great example of a Midlands company helping us to continue the vital support which we provide to people who have been diagnosed with Leukaemia, and their families. Thanks to this kind help, we continue to provide our CARE Line and website forum, information and signposting, as well as emotional and discretionary financial support to people affected by blood cancer.î
